Cement Autoclave
The Laboratory Cement Autoclave is suitable for conducting accelerated soundness test on Cement or the Autoclave expansion test. The Equipment meets the requirement of IS: 4031(Part-3)

The Equipment consists of a Stainless Steel/Mild Steel Pressure Vessel with insulated outer shell fabricated. The Pressure inside the vessel is controlled through a Pressure gauge and spring-loaded safety valve for control of Heater unit.

Laboratory Concrete Mixer Specification :
The Mixer consists of a steel vessel of 55/ 110 liters capacity (Aprox.), for mixing of 1cft. Mounted on a frame. The vessel is rotated at 20-22 RPM with the help of a motor. The vessel can be titled to any angle by a hand wheel and counter weight. This facilitates mixing and discharge. Blades are provided inside the vessel to mix the material thoroughly. The large hand wheel facilitates manual rotation of the drum during power failure. The drum, motor, etc, are mounted on a steel frame. This mould is provided with two large wheels for carting away. The mixer is provided with ½ HP motor. Suitable for Operation on 220V, Single Phase, 50Hz, AC Supply.

Vibrating Machine
A specially designed Vibrating Machine is used for vibrating the mix in moulds according to strictly controlled programme at a frequency of 12,000 ± 400 cycles per minute. The vibrator is mounted over coiled springs and the vibrations are developed by means of a revolving eccentric shaft. The center of gravity of the vibrator, including the cube mould, is either at the center of eccentric shaft or within 25mm below it. The simple design of the machine facilitates easy assembly and dismantling of the cube moulds. The machine is suitable for operation on 220V, 50Hz, single phase, AC supply.

Vicat Needle Apparatus This instrument is used for determining the normal consistency and setting times of cement and 'A' Class limes.

Specifications :
The apparatus consists of a metallic frame bearing a freely movable rod with a cap at top, one vicat mould, split type and glass base plate and one set of needles one each initial needle, final needle and consistency plunger. Fitted with Dash pot.

Slump Test Apparatus
Specifications :
The Apparatus consists of one slump cone with handles and foot pieces. The slump cone has internal dia 20cm at base 10cm top dia and 30cm height. Foot pieces can be fixed to the clamps on the base plate. The base plate has lifting handle for easy transportation. One graduated steel rod 16mm dia x 600mm long, rounded at one end and graduated in mm is also supplied.

Concrete Permeability Apparatus The design of concrete mix is aimed at maximum durability for the conditions prevailing at the site where it is to be used. Ability to resist the flow of water through, is one of the important durability characteristics. The permeability is determined on cement, mortar and concrete specimens, either cast in the laboratory or obtained by cutting out cores from existing structures.
